• One free individual pass to the entire meeting for someone in your firm (“press” excepted); and
• NSCP’s appreciation in the form of:
1. A link to your firm on the nscpmeetings website
2. A listing in the attendee welcome packet
3. A similar list on a registration area sign, posted for the duration of the meeting.
4. An opportunity to place your brochure (limit of one per sponsor times number of registrants) among the written materials provided to the regional meeting attendees.

Specifications

NSCP reserves the right to reject any advertising without reason. Note that we do not run "help wanted" advertising in Currents. NSCP Jobs is the forum for such advertising.

File Formats
Files may be sent as Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, PDF, TIFF, PNG, JPG, EPS, native Gimp format. Please contact us first before sending other file types.

Embed Your Fonts
Please embed or include all art and fonts with the file, as we do not necessarily have the same fonts you do. Please re-read that last sentence three more times, then a fourth time out loud. If you make a great ad using a font called "Magnificent Scipt Awesome Sans" and you don't embed it, you're going to get Times New Roman, because that's how font substitution works. Did we mention that you should embed your fonts? Because you should.

Resolution
Art should be scanned at 300 dpi minimum. If sending digital photos, they should be saved as a 300 dpi TIFF. NSCP cannot be held responsible for the appearance of your art. If you send art to us at 180 dpi, it will not look crisp. At 72 dpi, it will look muddy and unreadable. If art is supplied as paper, a high resolution print should be sent for the best quality reproduction. There is no reward in life for doing what you're supposed to do; similarly, there is no discount for providing high resoltion artwork. Remember that we cannot make your ad look better than how you send it to us.

Color
If you submit an ad in color, it will appear in color. Currents is distributed as a PDF. It doesn't matter if you use the RGB or the CMYK palette.

Transmission
Materials for ads can be submitted via e-mail or supplied on CD. If sending on CD, you will not get the CD back.

Yes, we can create your artwork for you if you like
If you like, you may supply us with your text and NSCP will design your Currents ad for you for a one-time fee of $500.

Currents Advertising Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions are an agreement between you ("customer, Client") and the National Society of Compliance Professionals, Inc. ("NSCP, us"). All orders that are placed through NSCP are subject to the following terms and conditions. Client acknowledges that by placing an order with NSCP, they have read, acknowledged, comprehended, and agreed fully with, all paragraphs of these terms and conditions.

All advertising is placed only after both payment and ad artwork have been received by us. Depending on the publication schedule, this time may be longer. All ads will be placed in random order and not necessarily according to firm name, unless specific arrangements have been made with regard to ad placement (such as half-page advertising). NSCP cannot guarantee that placement of one issue's ad will determine placement of ads in subsequent issues. All orders are processed on a first-come first-serve basis. Once your ad is in place ("active") NO refund will be made. NSCP does NOT guarantee that an ad placed on its site will generate any response whatsoever. NSCP will NOT refund advertising costs based on a lack of response to Client advertising. Client acknowledges that ad placement is one ad per meeting sponsored. Sponsor six meetings, get six ads.

In the event that the Client cannot be reached for any reason (if the Client is unavailable by phone or via the web, or if mail, electronic or otherwise, is undeliverable), the Client will not hold NSCP responsible.

Client understands that Client may not use NSCP's name (abbreviated or otherwise, in print or as a hyperlink) in connection with marketing materials without prior approval from NSCP.

NSCP will not promote certain types of firms and/or services. Firms advertising with NSCP must meet the same criteria that NSCP members meet.

To qualify for half-page NSCP advertising, a person must be employed in a compliance-related capacity by one of the following: a broker-dealer, an investment adviser, or a closely related business or profession with securities compliance concerns, such as a bank, securities compliance consultant, or legal or accounting firm. Exceptions to this may be granted at NSCP's discretion. Qualification for being a meeting sponsor is automatic qualification for placing small ads.
