Vendor Directory Advertising Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions are an agreement between you ("customer, Client") and the National Society of Compliance Professionals, Inc. ("NSCP, us"). All orders that are placed through NSCP are subject to the following terms and conditions. Client acknowledges that by placing an order with NSCP, they have read, acknowledged, comprehended, and agreed fully with, all paragraphs of these terms and conditions.

All ad campaigns are only activated after both payment and ad artwork have been received by us. All orders are placed into the advertising rotation within 24-72 hours following the date of payment submission. Depending on the demand this time may be longer. All ads will be placed in alphabetical order according to firm name, not considering initial articles such as "The." All orders are processed on a first-come first-serve basis. Once your ad is in place ("active") NO refund will be made. Client acknowledges that an ad placement is for the term stated on the advertising page. Adjustments in ad artwork will be according to the terms on the advertising page.

NSCP does NOT guarantee that an ad placed on its site will generate any hits or traffic whatsoever to the Client's site.

All traffic/hits will be delivered to the website address submitted with the ad order. In the event that there is an error with the submitted URL, the Client will not hold NSCP or it's Internet access provider responsible for the error. Any traffic diverted from a Client's site due to the above error will NOT be grounds for awarding a credit or a refund.

In the event that the Client's site becomes unavailable for any reason (if a server is down or unavailable, timed out, or shows to be active but with internal server errors, 404 errors and other types of common or uncommon errors associated with the Internet and its underlying infrastructure), the Client will not hold NSCP or its Internet access provider responsible for these errors.

Client understands that technical support will not be available by phone. All requests must be made in writing via e-mail to ads@nscp.org. Client also understands that technical support may not be available at the exact time in which the client initiates contact.

Client understands that Client may not use NSCP's name (abbreviated or otherwise, in print or as a hyperlink) in connection with marketing materials without prior approval from NSCP. Client will be permitted to list NSCP's name (abbreviated or otherwise) as a hyperlink on Client's website(s), which listing must not be construed so as to imply an endorsement by NSCP of Client firm or its services, unless such endorsement has received prior approval by NSCP.

NSCP will not promote certain types of firms and/or services. Firms advertising with NSCP must meet the same criteria that NSCP members meet. Any attempt to bypass our intended guidelines will result in account cancellation and no recourse for refund.

To qualify for NSCP advertising, a person must be employed in a compliance-related capacity by one of the following: a broker-dealer, an investment adviser, or a closely related business or profession with securities compliance concerns, such as a bank, securities compliance consultant, or legal or accounting firm. Exceptions to this may be granted at NSCP's discretion.

In the event that NSCP is doing a system upgrade or there are temporary problems with our ad servers and/or our backend systems client agrees to give leniancy of up to 48 hours in order for NSCP to fix the problems affecting any Client ads that are running.
