Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can non-members subscribe to NSCP's publications?

Q: Are back issues of the publications available online?
A: Yes, to members. All back issues of NSCP Currents are available in PDF format.
Permission for Reprints Guidelines
Q: How do I get permission to reprint an article from NSCP Currents or meeting materials?
A: All inquiries about reprints of material published in NSCP Currents must be directed to Lisa Crossley (firstname.lastname@example.org) .
If you wrote the Currents article, NSCP would be glad to create a "special edition Currents" with only your submission in it. This is very suitable for handouts at a meeting or for offering as a download.
In other cases, and for meeting materials, NSCP will seek permission of the writer before allowing a reprint for any purpose.
NSCP requires unique accompanying text for each reprint. Smaller batch reprints will require different accompanying text than reprints intended to be circulated widely.
For less than 50 reprints intended for circulation within your office, the following text must appear at the beginning of the article and in the same size typeface that the article is presented:
"Article © National Society of Compliance Professionals, Inc. Reprinted with permission. For more information about NSCP's publications and other membership benefits, please see NSCP's Web site at www.nscp.org, or contact NSCP at (860) 672-0843."
For less than 50 reprints intended for circulation outside of your office (such as at a meeting but not on the Web), the following text must appear at the beginning of the article and in the same size typeface that the article is presented:
“Article © National Society of Compliance Professionals, Inc. Reprinted with permission.”
The following text must appear at the end of the article and in the same size typeface that the article is presented:
“NSCP is the largest organization of securities industry professionals devoted exclusively to compliance and is a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to providing education, certification and consultation resources. Founded in 1987, NSCP membership is comprised of broker-dealers; investment advisers; and bank, insurance, law and accounting firms. For more information about NSCP's publications and other membership benefits, please see NSCP's Web site at www.nscp.org, or call (860) 672-0843.”
For more than 50 reprints, or for all reprints intended for circulation on the Web, NSCP will provide the text necessary for inclusion.
Q: I would like to contribute an article to Currents. How do I do this?
A: Send a message to Lisa Crossley (email@example.com) explaining what specific area of securities compliance you would like to cover and attach a sample of articles you've previously written. NSCP welcomes contributions! The sample articles you attach will be evaluated by NSCP's publications committee.
Q: I would like to make certain, select articles from NSCP publications available to others at my firm who are not NSCP members. May I make these available in my firm's electronic library?
A: Please contact Lisa Crossley (firstname.lastname@example.org) at NSCP. We will provide you with a clean copy in Word format for this purpose. We do not permit making entire issues of Currents available to your entire office or department, however.
