Professional Bio

Alexis Hall is a National Associate Director in the Division of Examinations at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. In this role, she leads the Technology Controls Program, which provides examination oversight of technology used in the U.S. securities markets and also coordinates on cybersecurity matters both within the Commission and with external partners through its Cybersecurity Program Office. Before assuming her current responsibilities, Alexis Hall served as Assistant Director and as Senior Regulatory Counsel within the Technology Controls Program. She earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Howard University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the University of Maryland.
