Donald Parker

Donald Parker is a seasoned financial services compliance and education professional with more than 35 years of experience across the insurance, broker-dealer, and investment advisory industries. He has held compliance, supervisory, and training leadership roles with organizations including Northwestern Mutual Investment Services, LLC and MassMutual Life (MML) Investor Services, LLC, where he focused on registered representative supervision, insurance and securities compliance, advisor development, and regulatory oversight of complex financial products.

Throughout his career, Donald has worked extensively with dual registrant environments, variable insurance products, annuities, and hybrid distribution models, providing practical guidance on supervision frameworks, sales practices, suitability standards, and evolving regulatory expectations, including Regulation Best Interest (Reg BI). His experience includes serving as an Agency Supervisory Officer within the MassMutual system, as well as leading new advisor development and sales supervision initiatives for Northwestern Mutual Financial Network.

In addition to his industry leadership experience, Donald currently serves as Head of Learning & Content, Director for Knopman Marks, where he leads the development of securities licensing programs for financial services professionals nationwide. He is an experienced speaker, instructional designer, and course developer specializing in compliance, ethics, securities regulation, insurance products, and advisor education.
