Kyrstin Ritsema

Kyrstin is a servant leader who drives business growth, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance across complex, highly regulated markets. As Executive Director, Compliance Services at Confluence, she leads high-performing teams delivering innovative compliance solutions that not only support clients under SEC and FINRA frameworks but also enable scalable business growth.

Previously, as Chief Compliance Officer at Executive Wealth Management, Kyrstin partnered with executive leadership to align governance with long-term growth strategy. Her responsibilities spanned budget planning, people management, and business development, culminating in a full-scale rebrand, the launch of multiple satellite offices, and new client solutions. These initiatives contributed to a threefold increase in assets under management, demonstrating how strong compliance and strategic leadership can accelerate organizational growth. This support lead to the company being well positioned for acquisition in support of planned succession solutions.

Earlier in her career at UBS Financial Services, Kyrstin built enterprise-level risk management expertise, driving compliance strategy and oversight across Michigan and Ohio markets.

She holds the Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional (IACCP®) designation, a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University, and serves as Co-Chair of the Regulatory Advisory Committee for the National Society of Compliance Professionals (NSCP). She is also active in the Investment Adviser Association and charitable organizations advancing mental health awareness.
