Description: In order to ensure the continuity of leadership for the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Advisory Committee, the role of the Deputy Co-Chair is to shadow the current Chairs in preparation to step into the role when a Chair’s term has ended. The Deputy Chair will actively participate in all DEI Advisory Committee meetings and will be copied on all higher-level communications within the committee.
Time Commitment: The DEI Advisory Committee meets virtually every other month throughout the year, with a few hours additional time expected for work on various initiatives. Approximately 6-10 hours per calendar year.
Prerequisites:
- Previous volunteer service on DEI Advisory Committee
- Current NSCP Membership required
- Current NSCP Board Members are ineligible
