Job Summary:

In this role, you will own the full transition lifecycle for newly recruited Financial Professionals — from recruitment support, platform education, onboarding, and transition execution, through long-term integration. You will also lead and manage Transition Team members, ensuring consistent delivery, operational excellence, and a high-quality Financial Professional experience throughout the journey.

This role requires a proactive, relationship-driven professional with exceptional organizational skills, the ability to lead through influence, and a passion for helping Financial Professionals succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

Transition Management, Team Leadership & Onboarding

  • Partner with the VP, Advisor Recruiting & Business Development, and Ownership to conduct platform overviews, support active recruits, and articulate the Firm’s value proposition.
  • Own the full transition lifecycle from Recruiting handoff through complete Financial Professional integration, ensuring both team members and internal partners understand roles and responsibilities.
  • Lead the end‑to‑end onboarding process with clear transition plans, proactive coordination, transparent communication, and consistent follow‑through.
  • Deliver and oversee one‑on‑one training, technology setup, operational support, and issue-resolution for Financial Professionals and their staff.
  • Drive successful Financial Professional integration by ensuring the Transition Team establishes strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, supports client continuity, and accelerates time‑to‑productivity.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage Transition Team members, ensuring consistent execution, high-quality Financial Professional support, and adherence to Firm standards.
  • Set clear expectations, monitor workload and priorities, and allocate team resources effectively to support multiple Financial Professional transitions simultaneously.

Integration & Ongoing Support

  • Ensure Financial Professionals achieve operational proficiency and maintain client continuity throughout the integration period.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to remove barriers, address gaps, and enhance advisor productivity.
  • Conduct check-ins with Financial Professionals to ensure ongoing satisfaction, identify gaps, recognize successes, and recommend additional support.

Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Recruiting, Operations, Supervision, Compliance, and Technology to provide consistent communication and aligned messaging.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance the Financial Professional journey, including onboarding improvements and training enhancements.
  • Gather and evaluate feedback from Financial Professionals and the Transition Team to identify improvements in processes, technology, and services.
  • Drive continuous enhancements across the entire advisor journey, from onboarding through long‑term integration.

Core Strengths & Skills

  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to mentor, lead, or manage team members in a service‑driven environment.
  • Strong transitions experience with the ability to guide Financial Professionals through complex onboarding, operational, and integration processes.
  • Diverse financial services product knowledge, with the ability to speak confidently across a broad range of investment, advisory, brokerage, and insurance solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving capability, resourcefulness, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort working with data, tracking, and reporting functions.
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Redtail, Wealthbox) to manage workflows, track Financial Professional progress, and maintain accurate records.
  • Familiarity with financial planning software (e.g., MoneyGuide, eMoney, RightCapital) to support Financial Professional discussions and onboarding needs.

Education/Experience

  • 5–7 years of experience in the financial services industry, with direct experience in Financial Professional transitions, onboarding, or operational support.
