Description: The Publications Committee is looking for NSCP members to join the committee’s Broker-Dealer (BD) Subcommittee.
Publications Committee members have the following responsibilities:
- Participate in monthly Committee meetings;
- Determine timely topics for articles;
- Solicit articles and authors for NSCP Currents;
- Review articles prior to publication; and
- Strive to improve the publications of the organization;
As a member of the BD Subcommittee, you will:
- Identify timely topics with a BD focus
- Review BD-focused articles and work with authors throughout the editing process; and
- Work with other members of the BD subcommittee to develop a stable of BD-focused articles.
- Writing articles with a BD focus is encouraged but not required.
Time Commitment: 2-3 hours/month
Prerequisites:
To be considered as a member of the Publications Committee, a potential candidate must:
- be a current member of NSCP in good standing, and
- have demonstrated a willingness to assist in NSCP’s efforts.
