Task Force Member
Overview
Task Force Members contribute to the advancement of NSCP initiatives by providing subject matter input, collaborating with peers, and supporting the development of deliverables aligned with organizational priorities. Members play a key role in bringing diverse perspectives and practical insights to time-bound projects and strategic efforts.
Responsibilities
- Active Participation: Engage in meetings and discussions, contributing ideas, expertise, and thoughtful input to support group objectives.
- Collaboration: Work constructively with fellow members and NSCP staff to advance project goals and foster a productive team environment.
- Deliverable Support: Contribute to the development, review, and refinement of group outputs (e.g., guidance, tools, recommendations, or other resources), as applicable.
- Subject Matter Insight: Share relevant knowledge and stay informed on industry trends and developments to enhance the group’s work.
- Alignment & Accountability: Support alignment with NSCP’s mission, values, and strategic priorities, and complete agreed-upon tasks within established timelines.
Qualifications
- Current NSCP member
- Relevant subject matter knowledge or professional experience
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a group setting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to contribute time, ideas, and expertise to group efforts
- Familiarity with NSCP’s mission, values, and membership base
Time Commitment
- Volunteer role with participation in scheduled task force meetings and related activities
- Time will vary depending on the scope and timeline of the initiative
- Commitment length typically aligned with the duration of the task force
