NSCP Announces Brad Busscher as 2025 JH Award Recipient
Honoree to be Recognized During NSCP National Conference in October
Washington, DC (September 17, 2025) – The National Society of Compliance Professionals (NSCP) is proud to announce that Brad Busscher, Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel of InspereX, has been named the recipient of the 2025 JH Award, NSCP’s highest honor. Busscher will be formally recognized during the Awards Luncheon at the NSCP National Conference on October 27 at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, Florida.
The JH Award, named in honor of one of NSCP’s founders, celebrates individuals who not only excel in their professional roles but also actively elevate the compliance profession through leadership, mentorship, and service.
“Brad’s commitment to integrity and innovation in compliance, combined with his decades-long leadership across the financial services industry, make him a natural recipient of this year’s award,” said Lisa Crossley, NSCP Executive Director. “His thoughtful guidance, technical expertise, and long-standing engagement with the NSCP community have left a meaningful impact.”
Busscher brings more than 30 years of experience in compliance, legal affairs, and executive leadership. At InspereX, a fintech firm specializing in fixed income sales, trading, and technology, Busscher serves on the company’s Executive Committee and as Corporate Secretary to the Board. His previous roles include serving as EVP, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Mesirow Financial, and senior legal and compliance positions at Van Kampen/Morgan Stanley, EVEREN Securities, and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
He holds a B.A. from Cornell University, a J.D. from the University of Miami, and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Busscher has contributed to NSCP programming and broader industry initiatives throughout his career, including writing a chapter on corporate transactions for Modern Compliance, published by Wolters Kluwer.
“Brad exemplifies the values and vision of NSCP, and his leadership and commitment to the profession continue to inspire the next generation of compliance professionals,” said Patrick Hayes, Chair of the NSCP Board of Directors. “We are honored to recognize his contributions at this year’s National Conference.”
